Split for 2 months ilr

So my husband has been in the uk since 2014 . We will be applying for ilr this week . Just wanted to find out of our claim might be affected . In 2017 we split for a few months and I claimed income support and housing benifit !as a single there are no question on the form asking if I have previously claimed any advice please ?

No, it should not. Technically you were expected to inform the Home Office if the relationship was no longer subsisting, perhaps it was and you just needed some holistic time apart :D

Thank you for replying . Do they do benifits check ? I'm thinking to just not mention it as we have enough postal evidence to cover the 2.5 year period . Also does anyone have an idea on appointment times visa runs out 27th and were really stressing waiting for a letter of employment we are planning on doing the fastest one but not really sure how it works. This again for your help.

Yes they do check. Does your BRP say that you are not entitled to claim public funds ??!
As long as you apply online before visa expiry, the date of your appointment is not important

I am a British citizen. My husband has no recourse to public funds . But he has been working since he arrived and has nee Claimed . I claimed benifits when we split for myself and children. Will this affect his ilr ?

Just to add were not claiming anymore and havnt for nearly 2 years now

No it has no effect as you are British and you can claim such benefits

Wait for the BRP to arrive. Your spouse can also apply for British citizenship now
