Eligible for ILR ?

Hi everyone,

By the time my current visa runs out I'll be in UK for 5 years.I came here on the Spouse Visa (Leave to Remain). Then, after my initial visa expired, i got renewed for another 2.5 years. But, and its a big but, the second visa was granted on the basis of a different spouse. I got separated from the first partner during my first leave to remain.

I think i read it somewhere that for the ILR on the spouse visa, one of the conditions is that the Spouse for the period of 5 years should be the same but i just want to be sure that if i am eligible for ILR or not ?

You are not eligible for ilr. You need 5 years with your new partner.
