ILR Submission too early also with a mistake

Post by drarunb » Mon Mar 02, 2020 4:56 pm

Dear Friends
I would much appreciate in clearing my queries
This is about ILR application (Superpriority )for my wife and Kid as my dependents.

The Details & Timeline is as follows.
I am on ILR since 02/2015 from PBS Tier 1.
For Wife & Kid were on ILR dependent visa till then they converted to FLR(M).
Date of 1st FLR(M) issued for both 19/04/2015
Renewal date 14/10/2017
Expires by 19/04/2020.
Date of Online Submission with Superpriority : 01/03/2020
Documents NOT uploaded yet
Appointments NOT fixed yet!
1.Like last time I was thinking to prepare the application and submit to get the appointment once they are eligible with in 28 days of 19/04/20. I wasn't aware that the Online submission is now the date of application and not the appointment. The Superpriority appointments are now with a Third party company to collect the Biometrics. I submitted the application and paid the full amount for Superpriority only to realise that I ve done a blunder.

2. My kid had a change of name and this was submitted in the last FLR(M) extension. The new BRP Card has her new given Name. Unfortunately I failed to mention this change of name in this ILR application.(Completely missed it somehow  )

As you can see I have submitted about 22 days before time, my worries are
1. Would it get refused for these reasons? if so would they refund?
2. Do I need to withdraw and put up another application? if so would they refund?
3. Biting the bullet, do I just make an appointment on any date between 23/03/2020 and 19/04/2020 (inclusive) and upload the documents also in this legal period?
I would much appreciate for any advices. Anyone had similar problems?
So stressful are these applications!!
Thank you

They will be eligible for ILR 28 days from 19/04/2020 when they complete their 5 years. Book the appointment anywhere within the 28 days period and they will be fine

Thanks Zimba
Should I mention in a covering letter about missing to tell the change of name of my kid?
They have this in their records as they have issued a BRP card with the new name in it 30 months ago when it was changed.

Thanks
Just again confused with the dates.
The Date of initial FLR(M) issue which is on the BRP Card is 18/04/2015 for 30 months.
Date of extension was 14/10/2017 for further 30 months but the Card expiry date is 19/04/2020.
My queries
1. Which date is taken as completion of 60 Months. is 18/04/2020 or 19/04/2020.
2. I can get the Superpriority appointment on 23/03/2020 which would be a good date for us too.
Now with all these circumstance of submitting an appointment earlier, would 23/03/2020be a safe date?

3. I am a bit confused now about how to calculate back 28 days. Should I include 19/04/2020 in the 28 days or not. What I meant to ask is the 28 days inclusive of the last and first dates? And what would be the earliest safe date here.
Please would anyone with similar experience advice. Would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Arun
