Tier 2 Sponsors Licence - Company Takeovers

Hi - I am eligible to apply for ILR under Tier 2 General Immigrant route (Set O application) this week. The query I have is regarding the certificate of sponsorship. The company which issued the last CoS, 4 years back was taken over by two companies. The sponsorship licence mentioned in my last CoS is not valid anymore/cancelled and therefore not appearing in the online ILR SET O application.

The current company which took over previous company has got a new license and I assume my CoS would have been transferred to new company sponsors license. Will it be fine if I mention the current company’s sponsors licence though it is not mentioned in CoS issued to me 4 years ago.
If Yes, do I need to submit any additional documentation to support this?

COS does not change and it gets transferred to the new employer. It is OK to mention the current license number

Not really. All should be taken care of by the new sponsor
