ILR qualifying period and 180 days

Post by drengshehata » Tue May 05, 2020 6:19 pm

Dear All,

I trust you all are well. I have an inquiry please regarding the calculation of the allowable 180 absence days. Any help will be highly appreciated, please. I would like to know how many days I have spent outside the UK if the situation as follows:

visa issue date: 23.07.2017
visa expiry date:23.07.2020
UK entry date: 02.08.2017
1st leave: from 22.08.2017 to 31.01.2018
2nd leave: from 09.06.2018 to 24.06.2018

Did I exceed the allowable no of days? and if not when is the best date to send my ILR application?
Thank you in advance for your support and guidance.

ILR application under Global Talent-NARIC Letter

Post by drengshehata » Sun May 17, 2020 1:34 pm

Dear all,

I am just wondering if anyone has provided NARIC letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a bachelor, masters degree or PhD in the UK and confirm the level of English to which the degree was taught or researched along with his application, please?

Thanks in advance for your support.

It is a mandatory requirement to submit evidence that you meet the English language requirement and liuk test.

ILR Qualifying period rule

Post by drengshehata » Tue May 19, 2020 8:10 pm

Hi All,
I am a bit confused of the 28 day rule earliest application date, is it from the entry date or from the date of visa issue date shown in BRP? Any input will be appreciated.
In my case, PRB is valid from 09.07.2017 to 23.07.2020 while the vingett visa stamp starts from 23.07.2017. Entry date was 03.08.3017 which date should be considered please?
Thanks

1. Please do not post ILR questions in the tier 1 sub forum.

2. Please keep all your questions in one topic, this one, all posts merged!!

3. It counts from visa issue date. What does your visa approval letter state?

Sorry for this and thanks for your quick reply. Do you mean the endorsement letter?

No, the letter you got when your visa was approved.

The letter was issued in May 2017 and it states from 23.07.17 to 23.07.20. Which date should be considered please? 23 or 09?

The rule of thumb is that if you have letters, stickers or BRP for the same leave with different dates then the earliest date among them should be used as the approval date
