ILR - No payroll for 5 months

Post by Deepavali » Mon Jun 22, 2020 7:47 pm

Hi,

I am due to apply for ILR this week as the visa is expiring this week.

I came into UK in June 2015 to start the job, how ever had to go back to my country due to family emergency and I came back after 3 months. But as I had a year old twins, I could not work for the next two months until the childcare was sorted. That means I started my job only in Dec.

So, this months, I was not working for the first 5 months out of which 3 months not in the country in the 1st year of my ILR eligibility.

Has anyone gone thru similar scenario and experienced any questions from HMRC or even any rejections.

Thanks in advance

Thanks so much for your response!! This website was not working yesterday,i wanted to ask a suggestion. If i am given an option to extend the visa for another year, should i go for it because of the 5 months of no payroll in the first year or go ahead with ILR as that will not cause any issues?

Please could you respond asap, as i am due to apply ILR this week.

Thanks
