Hi Guys, I am a doctor, came to UK after passing IELTS 7.5 band and have also done Trinity college CEFR English language assessment test.
I am applying for ILR, having lived in UK on Tier 2 visa for 5 years.
In the application, under English Language assessment, I was asked:
"Have you previously been granted leave to remain under Tier 2 (General) as a doctor, dentist, nurse or midwife, and passed an English Language assessment accepted by the relevant regulated professional body as a requirement for registration?" to which I said YES.
Now it is asking me for "NARIC letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK AND confirm the level of English to which the degree was taught or researched".
Do I still need NARIC? It is not letting me submit the application, without agreeing that I will provide NARIC.
CAN'T I SUBMIT MY OLD IELTS AND NEW CEFR CERTIFICATES INSTEAD? I HAVE BEEN WORKING IN THE NHS FOR 5 YEARS?
Secondly, if I do have to get NARIC, the naric website asks for transcripts. Do I need to get the transcript from medical college? I have FCPS (Fellowship) degree and transcript from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan stating that our medium of teaching was English. Should I go with my FCPS degree or MBBS degree, if I have to go with it, at all.
Thank you
