Passports, BRP, LIUK, English requirement.1. What documents do they ask for apart from passports, BRP, Life in the UK Test (This is in order for me to prepare them before starting the application)
Within 28 days before the date you ENTERED the UK. Your visa issue date is irrelevant.2. Can I apply 28 days or less before the date I entered the UK or the date the visa was granted 10 years ago?
DO NOT TAG YOUR QUESTIONS ON OTHER POSTS, post ALL your questions ONLY in your own post here. This is a second time you have been asked to do so.DeeOdu wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 5:03 pmHi There,
Thanks for this forum. It seems like it is helpful because there are actually not a lot of information out there for this type of ILR.
Please I have got a few queries:
1. What documents do they ask for apart from passports, BRP, Life in the UK Test (This is in order for me to prepare them before starting the application)
2. Can I apply 28 days or less before the date I entered the UK or the date the visa was granted 10 years ago?
I look forward to receiving some responses. Thank you.
Absolute nonsense. He is wrong. None of this is required for ilr based on long residence.Lawyers say that evidence of 10-year stay is needed, proof of address for the last 10 years is needed and evidence of current employment is needed.
You ONLY need your passports for the 10nurara. That's it. Nothing else is needed. The additional evidence is ONLy required if you do NOT have ALL your passports. How do I prove evidence of 10-year stay? can I give my GCSE, A-level, Undergrad, Masters certificate? Can I also give my bank statement for every year?(Thinking this will be a lot of paper)
It is irrelevant!!Current employment: As I am just about to finish my masters and would start a job later than my application date, would it be negative on my application if I do not currently have a job?
If this is not your first passport, was the place of birth correct on previous passports?DeeOdu wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 10:06 pmHi there, good evening. I have got some questions regarding my application for ILR based on long residence.
My place of birth on my passport has been wrong all this while and I recently just found out. I was born in Europe but my passport says I was born in Africa. Due to COVID-19, I would not be able to make any change promptly. Is it safe to apply just as my passport is with a cover letter without being deemed as “false”. Is this a complicated issue that needs a lawyer?
I look forward to hearing from you.
