ILR -SET(M) - Appointment booked - what to expect?

Hi guys

Made a mistake on ILR form which I submitted on Friday. I double checked and tripple checked - but the answer to the question about how long have you lived in UK - I put 5 years for my wife, whereas she has been here for 5 years and 1 month.

When going over form, it looked right, only now I started a test one and it does ask for months. All questions about how long we have been married and when we started living here and correct, that one is off by 1 month.

Is there anything I can do with the documentation, like a small cover letter? or is this a possible refusal/10 year route point?

Cant believe we got that question wrong, not sure - shes been here since 15 August 2015 - I started that app like mid September.

Does not matter. Relax. For your own peace of mind you can add a small note in the cover letter and upload with documents before biometrics. All good!

So anything in the uploaded section can still be used as evidence to rectify mistakes or give more solid proof for any particular cases made on form? - in case documents had been uploaded and turned up to the appointment, at that point would one not be able to add anything?

Lastly, as application has now been submitted and waiting for appointments, is there any rush or deadlline to get things uploaded and biometric meeting booked?

The important thing is that you have not understated the time In relation to qualifying time for what you are applying for.

You have to upload all documents before biometrics. There is a deadline for biometrics which is mentioned on your UKVI account which usually is 2 months from date of application. There is a new feature to self submit documents to UKVI via UKVCAS even before biometrics. You may want to benefit from it or just upload documents before biometrics, the staff will submit for you.
Any errors or things you want to clarify can be done via a cover letter and uploaded before biometrics at this stage.

Hi guys,
Wife is applying for ILR(M) and weve not had to go to Croydon(or any other centre) for previous apps like FLRM

Can I please ask what to expect on the day in terms of what is needed documentation wise(which most will have already been scanned into UKVAS app) I have gone for standard service with only SMS extra

Also, will I be able to go in with my wife and sort out any documentation? - Her english is OK but for this stuff, she just is not a documentation person, will I be allowed in etc?

If anything is missing or whatnot, will they ask, or they just accept and make decision etc?

Upload all documents and self-submit to UKVI via UKVCAS. This can be done up to 48 hours before the appointment.
At the appointment, all what will be needed then is her biometrics. Digital photo, finger prints, digital signature and scanning of passport for identification.
Carry all originals only just in case. No need to print soft copies. The staff will not check or need them though. Passport and appointment confirmation is mandatory only.
You can try to go with her but due to corona they might argue.

Last question, I submitted my app last Friday.

My documentation is with me, but appointment is on 29th! - will the 28 rule be compared to the application submission date or the date of appointment?

Half my docs will be expired by then and very diffcult to get them again due to covid

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online, that is what is relevant to your documents. It is NOT appointment date.
