Set(o) form enquries

Dear all,

I'm currently on Tier 2 visa and eligible soon to apply for ILR.
Would like to ask your kind help on a few queries I have.

Bit of backgrounds..
I entered UK in 2014 on Tier 5 (YMS) and started working for a company. The company sponsored me for Tier 2 before my Tier 5 expired. So I went back to my country and got Tier 2 Entry Clearance in December 2015. Then I came to UK in January 2016.

A) On the form, the question asking my first entering date to UK should be 2014? Or 2016?

B) As entry clearance starts in Dec 2015, I can count 5 years from that entry clearance start date, rather than actual entered date in UK (which is Jan 2016)?

C) When I went back to my country for Tier 2, company sent me as business trip so that I could continue to work in the local office while waiting for new visa. I also used a few days as holiday afterward. In my absence, I can comment then both biz trip and Holiday, even if my departure date from UK is before Tier 2 granted?

D) Proof of address: I rented a room in house for 3.5years so there is no seperate billls I paid. Do I need to get a letter from Landlord to confirm my residency there? If so, is there any template that I can use?
Alternatively, can I use my bank statement covering past 2 years for address?

E) English test: I took IELTS Academic (for UKVI) in 2015.I used it for Tier 2 and on the extesion later as well(which I am currently on). Can I still use this one as the Test centre is still on the approved list?

It would be so much grateful if someone can help me.

A) Most appropriate will be 2016 as the baseline for set O but also no harm in giving both dates since they have your all old record.

B) Usually the time starts from the date of the issuance of visa but as a precaution always best to follow the date which starts at later than others for remaining covered in all worst case scenarios (if the expiry of present visa allows that)

C) Any trip/holiday before the issuance of tier 2 wont be mattered.

d) There is no template for landlord letter and yes bank statements can be used wherever there is a need of proof of address/cohabitation.

In the document list, actually proof of address is not required as this is to apply ILR for myself. Then I don't need to attach two years address proof?
Or am I misreading the form?

Proof of cohabitation is ONLY required if you have a dependent applying with you.

A) English Test URN code: in the form I cannot find any section that I can inpit URN as I chose certificate as proof.
Is this correct? Or do I need to choose online ref number instead?

B)Oline Payslip and Bank Statement: my company only provides payslip online and so as my bank statement. my understanding is to get a letter saying this is genuine. Is there any template that I can use?

Is there any template that I can use? There is no set template, a line containing words about the payslips being genuine will suffice. Note that if the online pay slips and bank statements are a replica of or contain same info as would a printed/posted payslips or bank statement then it is expressly acceptable to HO without need for letter of authenticity.

Yes fill IELTS and centre number & Location. And next fill in the online reference number.
(Double check your result online with IELTS using the reference number)

I have tried to check the test result, but it would only show upto 90days. And my test was taken in 2015 and it was used on initial Tier2 and extension which I currently have. Would it be safer to choose certificate? I have paper with me which I can scan and upload.

If the result is at the required level B1, used successfully before and still on the approved list then can be reused.
Even with the URan you still scan and upload the paper certificate you have.

Sorry to ask again,but if someone could advise it would he grateful.
About my english test, is it correct to say it's still usable?

I took IELTS academic for UKVI in 2015 and used it for my initial Tier 2 visa. Then when company extended the visa in 2018. I didn't provide any English Test, which I assumed the IELTS was reused on extension.
Am I still okay to use this IELTS for ILR application?
The test centre is still on the approved list and it's above B1.

I understand that I need to bring original supporting documents when attending biometric appointment.

I have payslip and letters from company as email (PDF) so no hard copies for them.
Do I need to print them out and bring it with me for Biometric appointment?

No need to print and carry soft copies. Only carry originals which you have as hard copy. Nothing will be checked except passport and appointment confirmation though.

Looks good to me. If you have old passport that you have used to travel to UK during the last 5 years then you y want to add that under Proof of identity/travel history.

Consent form mention N/A for page 2 & 3 of its not applicable to you.
