How to cancel the application for SET O

Hi there,
Can somebody please advise me the in the following scenario:
My wife applied for Set O application (E 1 Ent Dependent) a week ago. She filled up the application form, paid the fee and after that she realized that she is not eligible before mid of November 2020. She has not booked appointment yet.
She would like to cancel the application and get the fee refunded. She would apply again when she is eligible i.e. Mid November 2020.
Can somebody, please advise if it is possible?

Initial visa issued on 30/11/2015
Entered in UK: 21/12/2015
5 years completes in UK: 30/11/2020
She is eligible to apply for ILR (28 days before 5 years): 3/11/2020
She applied on 19/10/2020
NO, She has not done her bio-metrics yet

You have two options given her current leave is valid:

1) Either you can withdraw her application and apply again after 3/11. The fee will be refunded as she has not done the biometrics as yet.

OR

2) She can continue with her existing application and book biometrics after 3/11.

Calculating the specified continuous period
Applicants can submit a settlement application up to 28 days before they would reach the end of the specified period.
You must calculate the relevant qualifying period by counting backward from whichever of the following is most beneficial to the applicant:
• the date of application
• the date of decision
• any date up to 28 days after the date of application

Leave the application as it is and book biometrics for a date after 03.11.2020

Previous responder already gave my reply as one of options.
Note that if you cancel there is no assurance of how quick you get refund and if it so happens you do not have funds to pay for the application while refund is pending....quagmire
