Help Required for ILR

Hello,

I need your guidance for ILR as when I should apply.
I am on family based route of 5 years and I am completing my 5 years residency in September2021 but my current visa expires on May 2022.

When I applied for first extension in April2019, it took Home Office neaarly 6 months to process my visa extension application & Home Office issued me visa from Nov2019 and that visa is for 30 Months but I am completing my 5 years residency in September 2021.

I think I should apply in September and not to wait till May 2020 when my visa expires but I am not sure hence I need some clarification please.

Can anyone please shed some light on this.

Yes you can apply when you complete 60 months minus 28 days counting from date you entered UK.
