tier 1 exceptional talent-ilr application

Post by mnk01 » Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:30 pm

Hi,
I am applying ilr from tier 1 exceptional talent visa category.
I have a Master's degree from the USA and a Phd from Turkey. I am confused with which NARIC service I should choose. ILR application form is rather confusing as it doesn't clarify this point and it just states "NARIC letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK.". NARIC has the following under the visa and nationality service;
Visas and Nationality (English proficiency)
Visas and Nationality (PhD verification)
Visas and Nationality (PhD verification with English proficiency).
NARIC also offers Statement of Comparability service which also sounds suitable to my situation but it is under job/study services, not visa and nationality.
I am dubious on whether Home Office requires a Phd verification or a Statement of comparability on my occasion.
I am under the impression that at the application I will be proving my English Proficiency by providing my Master's Certificate which was taught solely in English in an English speaking country. But reading through the NARIC website I am also undecided that whether or not I should also get an English proficiency from NARIC.
I would appreciate it if you could help me to choose the best suitable NARIC service for my circumstances. Thank you

If your degree was taught or researched in English
You can prove your knowledge of English by having a degree that was taught or researched in English.

If your degree is from a UK university, you only need your degree certificate.

If your degree is not from a UK university you’ll need:

a copy of your degree certificate
an Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS) from UK NARIC confirming the degree is equivalent to a UK qualification.
