10 year partner route Settlement

Post by sabrinana » Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:24 am

Can someone confirm when a person has reached 10 years on the 10 year partner route to settlement.

Do they require the life in UK test and B1 Engligh test.

Thanks

Yes, if the applicant is aged 18 to 65 years old

Thanks

Thanks for the reply Poper.

I am getting confused.

I though 10-year partner route was a form of discretionary leave? Maybe it is not. I am not sure.

My understanding is that:

1.5 year partner route - KoLL required
2. Discretionary leave - KoLL not required.

There is no longer a "discretionary" leave route. It is FLR fp partner or clparent route which is leave outside the immigration rules.

For ilr via any route (except refugees), liuk and English B1 tests are is mandatory if between 18 and 65 years of age.
