English B1 requirement For ILR under SET (m)

Post by Hy2 » Wed Dec 23, 2020 6:30 am

Hi ,I sent Master degree to Naric for compatibility statement and I got a letter from UK Naric that my Master degree from Pakistan is equivalent to Uk Bachelor (ordinary) degree and my BA degree is equivalent to overall GCSE advance level. I don’t have letter from university that my degree was taught in English. Now I am still confuse that fulfill the requirement of B1 or not? I will be very thankful for your guidance.

If your degree was taught or researched in English

You can prove your knowledge of English by having a degree that was taught or researched in English.

If your degree is from a UK university, you only need your degree certificate.

If your degree is not from a UK university you’ll need:

a copy of your degree certificate
an Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS) from UK NARIC confirming the degree is equivalent to a UK qualification.
If your degree is from a non-majority English-speaking country you’ll also need an English Language Proficiency Statement (ELPS) from UK NARIC confirming the degree was taught in English
.
You need both as stated above. If you do not have both and is not equivalent to required level then:
