ILR application questions

Post by Calicification112 » Wed Dec 30, 2020 10:27 pm

Hello all,

I was filling out the SET(M) application online and came across a weird set of questions

"Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?"

I have answered the previous questions regarding family and friends which I understood to be because they want to see if you would have anywhere to go IF the refuse you.

However I have no idea how to interpret this question as it seems very subjective. Please can someone help me figure it out and if possible dumb it down for me as I am clueless right now

thank you so very much

The above is not a trick question....unnecessary if you ask me especially after the family and friends question.
It is still asked in relation to knowing if able to go somewhere should the application outcome not be favourable.
Answer truthfully and such response should not adversely affect outcome.

Decrease in Salary

Post by Calicification112 » Sat Jan 02, 2021 11:43 pm

Hello All,

hope everyone is well. I have a query about salary

for the last 5 months of my husbands payslips, they have been consistently one figure, and only recently the company mentioned that in January (the last payslip I need) his pay will decrease.

This in itself isn't a concern, but I want to know should I have his NEW main gross annual salary as this lowest payment which is one months payslip (January-February), or should it be what the last 5 months payslips have been?

Thank you so much :)
