Hi all,
What is the procedure - or is there any - to possibly get a faster decision on an ILR application due to a death of a close family member which would require travel outside of the uk? Long story short but my mother is in hospice care now in America with end stage Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinsons. I have not seen her in a year due to covid. My family has told me she doesn’t have much time left and is asking when I can come. I will apply for ILR in two weeks.
Thank you
Sorry to hear that.
Assuming your current visa is expiring soon and you can not travel before it expires?
This is a serious issue and I am almost certain HO will take this into account and expedite your case. Add a cover letter, provide a letter some kind of proof that your mother is in hospice and request for expedition.
