Post by zeeshi1122 » Mon Feb 08, 2021 9:02 pm

Hi everyone,

I have contacted my MP regarding my pending ilr application, i got a reply back from MP he will contact UKVI but didn't give me any time period can someone please share their experience what will happen next?

UKVI take any action on MP request or not? If they take action how long it will take to hear back from them?

You literally only applied online in December 2020 and had your biometric appointment on 28th January!! The standard service is 6 months.

A bit premature to chase HO already when you know the standard time frame is 6 months!!

The HO will likely respond to the MP about when they received the application and the timescale. A standard generic response.

It is not possible to expedite an application after you applied. Wait to hear back within the standard timeframe. MP's involvement is often pointless and leads to a generic response from UKVI
