Hi,
I just wanted some clarity -
I arrived on a tier 2 in 2014 (5 years) within that time I recieved another tier 2 and changed jobs. There was a 28 day period between finishing my job and starting my new role, where i did some travel. How do I explain this absence...?
Additionally in the first role I had some sick leave for 3 weeks for an operation, where i was on 100% pay, does this need to be included if I dont have any evidence to show for it - other than I can get my old employer to vouch?
My 28 day date prior to 1st visa commencing is in march, am I right in thinking I can start the online application now, but just submit in on that date n march?

No need to explain travel between roles. No need to provide evidence except an employer letter. You can start early and submit when eligible

Hi,
I am applying for my ILR from tier 2 general next month. As part of a company wide policy to reduce redundancies, i have been part furloughed. I do have a letter from my employer stating they will continue to require me for my job.
My question is how do I evidence my pay?
In my application I have put my salary as per my visa.
For the required evidence however... my payslip and bank statements will show the furloughed rate. Should I write a cover letter to explain or should my employer add this to their letter that I am on furlough and earning less than visa but their intention is to return me to full pay? Is there any guidance on this?
My gross taxable with the furlough rate is just over 35k. shy 10k from my visa salary. The current soc rate is £38,890 ... although i believe this was less in 2016 when the visa was initially applied for the tier 2. Will this be ok?
Should they have updated sms... if they haven't will that affect me application or their sposnor abilities in the future?
Any other advice would be much appreciated!!!

Hi,
My work visa/ work start date was April 6 2016. I commenced work a week late as my father passed away and I travelled internationally to say goodbye/ funeral - my employer was aware of the situation. Would this be considered an authorized absence?
I have an employee letter from them.. anything else needed?
'' I wish to confirm that XX has been a full time employee of XX; sponsor license numberXX. This role was entitled to 28 days of Annual Leave per calendar year.
.
I wish to confirm that XX has not had any unauthorized absences since commencing employment.
.
The following table details the dates of her authorised absences from the UK during her employment, additionally specifying reason of absence. These dates are consistent with her entitled annual leave.
.
**TABLE** ''
Thankyou for your help!

Sorry once last question.
EVIDENCE REQUIRED ''letter from employer detailing reasons for work related absences incl. annual leave.''
I am getting confused RE: unauthorized absence and work related absence.
SO If I am having to state annual leave do i also need to state sick leave etc if full pay....?
Or is it enough to say no unauthoised leave... this is the authourised annual leave.

The letter is fine. Absences before the start date can be ignored

Thankyou, you've been so helpful.
A couple of questions while I am filling out my application;
- Is it correct to input the date of arrival/ departure that match your passport stamps ( I know travel days aren't counted?)
- RE: the q ''Current rate of pay''; do i put my furlough rate or the full time salary relevant to the tier 2 general visa?
- I once recieved a 'move on notice' from the police for drinking in public - while picnicing in au - i dont have the details for this, do i need to disclose this? my police record is clear in aus and Uk.
- i wont recieve my current bank statement until 2 days after i wish to pay for the application, assume its ok the keep uploading documents up to biometrics appointment?
