Financial Requirement

My husband is applying for indefinite leave to remain 5 year route.
For the financial requirement he does not have all the documents for self employed proof. I earn 30K so meet the requirement without his income, what you advice to do when applying, includes his income or leave it out all togther?

I am a Ltd company director and another sole trader business, teaching classes. Both are separate to my Paye employee income. Do I need to include this in my application? Even though I am not relying on this to meet the financial requirement.
My Employment is a permanent contract and I earn 30k a year. I am not a director of this organisation, it is completely seperate to the company where I am the Director.

Sorry one last question to clarify. Does any seperate letter need to be added, explaining I am a company director but do not relying on this income. Or should.it be emitted completely?
