That bar is to fool us ... for me it moved to 80% and then moved back to 60% and stuck there for last one month.
i cant get through to the webchat! is there a trick to it?GIGPH wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 3:43 pmThat bar is to fool us ... for me it moved to 80% and then moved back to 60% and stuck there for last one month.
Funny part is - if you do webchat, they will first try to fool you saying that you look at the bar and if you counter them saying it is broken, does not show the current status - they will make a U turn saying it does not take backlogs into account.
Summary - Do not trust the bar, ask status from webchat agents.
As far as I understand, the only 2 things that they check are the authenticity of the naturalisation certificate, and whether the certificate matches the passport holder. There is going to be a similar check for people who got Irish citizenship via other routes (e.g. for FBR, they need to check with DFA; for post-nuptial applications, they check with INIS etc).
My status turned to Printing today after 2 months 2 days. So their 40 working day waiting times seems more or less correct. I have seen this with few other applicants I was waiting to see this status change by this week. so if you have waited 2 months stay positive you would get it soon.drfas wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 6:00 pmSame as me ,I worked here on stamp1 and then stamp 4 ,no immigration gaps .I work as a doctor so no bad employment history ,I was speaking to someone at work whose relative works in the office and she said they are checking record with INIS for everything .I don't know what to believe at this point
