Hi All,
I'm in the UK under Tier 2 visa since 22nd of July 2017. I also have my wife and two sons (10 and 8 year olds).
We've all entered the UK on the same day and we are aiming to apply for the ILR this June (4 years and 11 months).
I have read on the internet that I need to prove my continuous residency for the last 5 years which is
fine as I have council tax bills, energy bills etc under my name to prove that.
Problem is there are just two years of documents under my wife's name (council tax bills and bank statements).
The only other bills she has under her name is Tesco online bills.
Since we entered the UK we never left so our passports are only stamped on the day we entered which is
again the 22nd of July 2017.
Any help me with the following questions is greately appreciated.
1-Will my wife's passport and the two-year-proof of documents under her name be enough to prove her continuous residency in the UK for the past 5 years? I can see on the gov website that any stamp in the passport will only cover that month for that stamp.
2-Can Tesco bills be submitted as a proof of continuous residency? (I can see nothing that indicates that on the gov website).
3-Based on my calculation, I should submit the application on the 24th of June this year 2022. Is that right?
4-Will I need to submit the marriage certificate with the ILR application?
Thanks in advance.
