ILR Set (O) Bank statements query

I hope someone can help me regarding the bank statements and other time stamped documents to submit.

I collected bank statements from the bank which were stamped 2 weeks ago and then submitted an application for ILR Set (O) under the ancestry route 3 days later. Subsequent to submitting my application online I realised that there were some errors and then withdrew the application. It has just been formally withdrawn so I can now reapply.

I wanted to check whether I needed to get further bank statements to cover the last 14 days. My reason for asking is that not only is it another trip to the bank, but more so my cash flow is now worse having paid my credit card bill for Christmas spending and I get paid at the end of the month.

Could someone advise if I’m being a worry wart (in either direction - ie that I worry my statements are too old, or that I worry that my finances aren’t the greatest for this last month).

There’s quite a bit of guidance on tier 2 bank statements (that it has to be issued within the last 28 days) but that is for a different purpose to the ILR for ancestry so just wanted to see what people thought.

Is there a general allowance for differences in the bank statement date and the application date? And if so, how many days?

FIN 7.1. The most recently dated piece of financial evidence must be dated within 31 days before the date of application.
