Paying for Priority service after biometrics?

I had my biometrics appointment yesterday, and after my appointment the woman that helped me told me I could call the Home Office and quote my unique reference number and pay for priority service. Is there any truth to this? I didn’t have the option to get the priority service when I applied, and would love to get this all sorted sooner instead of waiting for standard service.

No there is not. You can only select priority or super priority, if available, before the payment stage online.
