SET (M) - Advise on sources for Letters for Living Together & Digital Payslip with letter from employer

Post by Abd ur Rehman » Tue Feb 22, 2022 9:14 pm

Hello

Requesting to help on below queires. I have tried checking everywhere but couldn't find suitable answer;

1. Sources for letters for cohabitation:

Is there any rule around how many different sources are needed to be used for these letters. Also can same source (eg; Utility bill) be used twice in different dates or does it have to be different source each time?

The sources I have got are as follows;

1. Energy Bills - 2 suppliers
2. Water Bills - 2 suppliers
3. Tanency Agrement Letter
4. Council Tax - 2 different councils
5. DVLA Letter
6. Student Loan Letter
7. Bank Statements

Below is what I have collated so far, these are more than 6 letters if combined jointly. Just being careful if any source is rejected. Is this ok?

Aug 2019 - Energy Bill - Joint
Dec 2019 - Water Bill - Joint
Mar 2020 - Tanency Agreement - Joint
June 2020 - Council Tax - Joint
Sept 2020 - Student Loan - Spouse
Nov 2020 - DVLA letter - Mine
Jan 2021 - Water Bill - Joint (different supplier)
May 2021 - Bank Statement - Both (individually)
Sept 2021 - Payslip - Spouse
Sept 2021 - Energy Bill - Mine (different supplier) - Name mis-spelt. Would it cause issues?
Jan 2022 - Water Bill - Joint

2. Digital Payslip & Letter from Employer

My employer provides digital payslip. Do I need to get these signed & stamped from the employer or just the printed copy will be acceptable? Same with the letter from employer. They have given me a letter to print out on their digital letter head.

Thank you for all the help and replies.

It should cover the last 2years preceeding the application with interval of 3 to 4 months. However when it comes to it any item of correspondence can be used.

They have given me a letter to print out on their digital letter head. Both are acceptable, no need to print or stamp, download the payslips and letter from employer and upload same to the website to support your application. Same applies to your bank statements.

Thank you for all the help and replies.
