Confusion over when I can apply for ILR

Confusion over when I can apply for ILR

Looking for help about when I can apply for ILR via ancestry route.

Original visa was July 2012, visa was extended after the first five years,
The extended 2nd Visa expires June 02 2022

It says not to apply until 28 days before the visa expires, does that still stand for myself, as I have been in the UK for more then 5 years already.

Any help appreciated!

ILR application has NOTHING to do with current visa expiry. You can apply for ILR within 28 days of completing your 5 year qualifying period
