Worker SKilled dependent status post ILR and job change

Post by Glenfidich123 » Tue Apr 05, 2022 5:44 pm

Hi,

There was a post related to the topic indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-and-stat ... l#p1802999

But the query was answered as 'May be'

Kindly can you help with below what is UKVI policy:

1. Main applicant on Tier 2 General now Worker Skilled will get ILR in May 22.
2. Dependent Spouse visa until Sept 22 will be eligible and apply ILR in July 22 ( as per 5 year completion requirement)
3. Main applicant post receiving ILR switches the job within UK between May 22 (post ILR) and July 22 (before dependent spouse gets ILR)

QUESTION:
1. Any issue for Dependent spouse on ILR route due to main applicant job switching post ILR ?

I will be grateful if above query can be answered and a link to UKVI policy reference for the same.

thanks

1. No issue. They are dependent on you not your skilled worker employer.

When you get settled status, you are no longer a skilled worker or sponsored employee. You have the full right to work and live here and your dependent's status depends on you
