Skilled Worker VISA with spouse in ICT

Post by hainhars » Tue Apr 05, 2022 6:19 pm

I am moving to a skilled worker VISA after my entry into UK in Aug 2017 after so far being his dependant. I will be eligible for ILR after 5 years completion lets say in Jun 2027
My husband’s history by then will be like below,

Aug 2017 to Aug 2022 - 5 years completion in ICT
Aug 2022 to Aug 2026 - 4 years will be spending in ICT (>73K)
Aug 2026 to Aug 2027 - 1 year as either his main Skilled worker or my Skilled dependant visa (based on situation)

Can you advise if this will make my husband eligible for ILR through 10 year route in Aug 2027 alongside me in Jun 2027

Yes, all looks good for now. Rules might change.

All visas count towards the long residence, assuming he meets other eligibility criteria. The rules are subject to change so do not assume anything fo 2027
