ILR Eligibility

Post by mt2022 » Sat May 28, 2022 8:46 pm

Dear Sir/Madam,
My wife came to the UK on 31/03/2017 when I was a student on Tier 4 dependent visa. I received my ILR in November 2019 and then my wife switched to ILR - spouse dependent visa. Her first 2.5 years spouse visa is due to expire on 02/07/2022. I would be extremely grateful if you could answer the questions below, please?
Can she be eligible for ILR on the basis of 5 years route as she has been in the UK for more than 5 years on different visa categories (Tier 4 / Tier 2 and ILR Dependent in 5 years)
Kindly note that my son and I hold British citizenships.
Thank you.
Kind regards

No. She needs 5 years on the FLR spouse visa before she can apply for ILR.
