Queries regarding ILR to apply

I came to the UK on 12 August 1999 on a spouse visa with Indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
I have given birth to my daughter on 11 June 2000 at Northwick Park hospital, UK.
My married life had come many ups & downs & finally I left the UK with my daughter on 4 March 2003
I have filed for Divorce from India & me & my husband and got separated on 11 October 2004 with my daughter's custody remaining with me. My husband did not pay any maintenance for my daughter.
I alone look after my daughter & taken all her education & living responsibility on me .
I had renewed her British passport regularly withholding her PIO card to live in India.
We came back on 26 May 2013 to the UK for my daughter's further study as she is a British Citizen.
I got a UK residency visa until my daughter will get 18 Years old.
I got a very good legal professional job & my daughter has done well in her study.
With my own earnings, we settled in the UK without any UK government benefits.
I have rented a private studio flat & gradually moved to a two-bedroom flat.
During our life journey, I found a kind & caring boyfriend who is a British Citizen.
We finally got married in January 2018.
I have applied for the spouse visa with 5 Year route plan.
My five-year route will get over on 26 May 2023 & to be surprised I have finished my 10 years legally living in the UK on the same date.

I have explained my story to ask whether I am eligible to apply for the British Passport straight or do I have to apply first for ILR.

When do I have to start to do all the application procedures to apply any of the above residency as my biometric residency card expiry date is 26 May 2023?

What paper will have to prepare to apply for the ILR or British Citizen passport?

Only a British Citizen can apply for a British passport. You are not a British citizen. To become British, you have apply for Citizenship on form AN once you qualify.

ILR is mandatory before you can apply for British Citizenship.

How long do I have to wait to apply for British Passport after receiving ILR?

ONLY British citizens can apply for a passport. You MUST apply to naturalise as a citizen first before applying for a passport. Given that you are married to a British citizen you can apply to naturalise immediately after getting your ILR.
When your naturalisation is approved by the home office, you will be asked to book and attend your citizenship ceremony after which you become a British citizen. You will be given a certificate of naturalisation.

It is ONLY then that you are eligible to apply for a British passport

This is the process: Apply for ILR using form SET(M) ---> ILR ---> Apply for naturalisation using form AN --> Approval --> Attend cermony ---> You are now British ---> Apply for a British passport

The financial requirements are the same as your extension

You can travel and come back as long as you have a valid visa

To my knowledge, I have to give an exam for ILR before I can process my application, is it true?

Apply within 28 days of completing your 60 months under the family visa, counting from the day your family visa was issued.
