ILR SET O, application date query

Hi All,

I am about to submit the ILR application, and want to double check my understanding on the earliest application date.

visa category: Tier 2 General or skilled work visa.
visa vignette valid from: 28/07/2017 until 27/08/2017
arrived at UK on: 24/08/2017
BRP issue date: 07/08/2017


As far as I know, I can use the visa vignette issue date 28/07 as the starting point for the 5-year qualifying period. Therefore, the ealiest date is 28/07/2022 - 28 days, and it is OK for me to submit my application today (02/07/2022)?

I know this quesion has been asked frequently. So, I would be very grateful if I could get a confirmation here.

very much appreciated. do you mean that the earliest date is 28/07/2022 minus 28 days, which is 01/07/2022 ? I guess I am eligible now to submit the application ?

or you mean the earliest date is the vignette iusse date, which is 28/07/2022 ? then I have to wait until 28/07 to submit the application.
