Switching from family life route to spouse for ILR

Post by Adebisi101101 » Tue Jul 19, 2022 8:03 am

Hello,
I would be grateful if anyone has an advice on this .
my husband came in with hsnp and we where suppose to get ILR after 5 yrs unfortunately he was out of the country more than the days he was allowed so he was refused ILR and we switched to family life visa. Myself and the kids got our ILR months ago based on 10 years family life but my husband has only completed 5 years working in Uk .can he also apply for ILR or switch to spouse visa and then apply for ILR because he has completed 5 yrs and worked in the Uk for 5 yrs.

Thanks

It is not about just 10 years. He needs to have had 10 years of lawful and continuous residence to qualify but all visas count. Provide his detailed immigration history to see if he qualifies under long residence
