Hi ,
I came to uk on 16.09.2017 on tier 2 dependant visa. Visa extended on 19.12.2019 and valid until 19.12.2022. My husband holds british passport.

periods of absence from uk : 2018 : 110 days 2019 : 181 days.

1. will period of absence in 2019 effect my application
2. when can i apply for ILR and is it set O application should i fill.

If this absence occurred on your visa held before your extension on 19/12/2019, then no. Only absence on a visa issued AFTER 11 Jan 2018 count.
2. when can i apply for ILR and is it set O application should i fill.
What was the initial visa ISSUE date of your visa in 2017?? Yes it is form SET O provided your spouse received his ILR based on 5 years Tier 2 and not on 10 years long residence.

Hi CR001,

Initial visa issued on 07.09.2017 till 29.12.2019.

181 days absence period is until 25.11.2019 on visa issued for 07.09.2017 till 29.12.2019 period. That means I should be okayy.?

My husband received ilr on 5 year tier 2 route . so its SET O ?.

Thank you

Yes, no need to declare this absence. You only need to declare any absence you had from 19/12/2019. You can apply for ILR no sooner than within 28 days before 7th September 2022, you could have already applied.

Set O yes. It is the only form you can use to apply for ILR.

ILR APPLICATION MISTAKE

Post by elzjoz » Wed Aug 24, 2022 9:17 am

Hi All,

I have completed set 'o' application for ILR . I havent attended biometrics yet , just booked appointment for sep 13 . Made a mistake answering below question.

What will you use to prove your degree taught in Degree certificate
English? I said degree certificate , now they are asking for Ecctis letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard and The degree certificate for to prove the level of English language required.
I dont have ecctis letter and eventhough my degree was taught in english in india , my degree certificate doesnt specify the same( Degree certificate is a mix of hindi and english )

I have completed oet(occupation english test) and have score B IN ALL MODULES and I have certificate for the same.

What should i do now.

should I withdraw my application, if i do that when will i get refund and how soon i can re apply.
or
can I just submit my degree and oet certificate , will they accept this .

Many Thanks

Do not withdraw the application. Simply add a cover letter and provide the English test results.

You cannot change to priority now.

Note that super priority service is not easily available: Online Application - Why there is no Super Priority Service Option ?

DO NOT start new topics. Keep all your queries in this thread :!: :!:
Refunds can take several weeks. You can apply for a new application right away
