ILR query

Hi all,
my wife is planning to apply for ILR 10 years route by next month (october 2022) . we just read that a person must not travel outside UK while the decision for an ILR is pending.
at the moment she is on dependant visa which is valid till march 2024 and we were planning our holidays in december 2022 after she applies for ILR.

so, the rule that a person must not travel outside UK means she can not travel even though her current visa is still and remain valid untill we get the decision for an ILR?

No she cannot travel while an application is pending regardless of her visa validity. If she does, her application will be considered withdrawn and she loses the fee paid.

Apply for ilr when you return.
