According to the Dutch Embassy list, all African countries, including South Africa, plus Trinidad and Tobago and Bolivia, require a Schengen visa. Thus, taking these countries off the visa-waiver in the UK and Ireland would be in line with the rest of the EU.John56477 wrote:Do these countries require a visa for entry into the EU ?/ Schengen ?

The BOC issue was very much alive when they last reviewed the status of visas for Malaysians, and if anything has died down, so there is no reason to think that a review is likely anytime soon.ben_scaro wrote:This is interesting . . . is there any tangible evidence for the assertion that Britain considered implementing visas for Malaysians on account of the BOC / renunciation issue? The numbers are so small- c.500 or so?
I am generally aware that Malaysia narrowly escaped being included on the list of visa countries, but not sure of the process or how often they review country statuses ?
