ILR for PBS Dependent - Consent Form Confusion

Hi all,

We are in the process of applying for my husband’s ILR (Tier Dependent).

Having filled out the form online, on our list of documents, there is no requirement to submit any financial documents/proof of income. Is that correct?

All we are being asked to provide is:
1) His passport
2) Ecctis Letter
3) Degree Certificate
4) Declaration to confirm consent
5) Previous passports
6) BRP
7) Evidence of immigration status (i.e. BRP in our case)

There is no financial requirement for PBS dependents applying for ilr.

You must however submit 2 years evidence of cohabitation in both your names to prove subsisting relationship.

Just applying for my husband’s ILR (PBS Dependent Route).

Main ILR/British Citizenship Holder: Me
Applicant: My husband (dependent)

We are quite confused about Consent Forms and would really appreciated some help.

Document checklist asks us to submit:

1) Declaration signed by Me, Main ILR Holder to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks - Is this Part 1 of the consent form? We cannot understand why the Main ILR Holder is being asked to sign this? I have copied and pasted wording from Part 1, which states the Applicant should sign this.

Wording from Part 1 of the consent form is as follows:
You (the applicant) should sign the Part 1 consent, and relevant other parties should sign Part 2 and 3, where they are relevant to your application. You must send them with your supporting documents If you fail to do, your application may be refused.

2) Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on Me, Main ILR Holder for joint accounts or third party support - Is this Part 2?

We are so confused about Part 1!
