Submitted SET (M) instaed of SET (O)

I made the same mistake by submitting SET(M) instead of SET(0).
I have submitted the withdrawal request for about 6 weeks and haven't received any reply.
May I ask have you got your refund of wrong application in the end?

I have seen in few posts people got changed into correct route after requesting home office. I have requested the same and it has been 3-4 days already, no response yet.
Wanted to check if it is worth waiting as it will save me putting an extra application and the fees.

You should not withdraw, you simply need to apply again for a new application using the correct form SET(O). UKVI will cancel the previous application. You may not get a refund if you submitted your biometrics
