Overdraft Bank Statements

Post by RugbyLeagueHistory » Tue Mar 07, 2023 10:25 am

I am applying for my ILR as I have been in England nearly five year. The only worry or concern I have is my main account is in overdraft by about £500-1000 a month. I have about £4000 in savings and the only reason why I never paid off the overdraft is because you have to pay over £2500 for this visa otherwise I would have paid it off no problem. Will this affect my application?. I have a full-time job where I get paid about £1600-1700 a month. And also can I just print the PDF Statements off the Halifax website or do I have to attend the bank and get the statements printed out and stamped to say they are official. Any help would be appreciated.

Will this affect my application? No, if your bank is OK with it, then why should it bother anyone else. It's like owing on a credit card. I have a full-time job where I get paid about £1600-1700 a month. And also can I just print the PDF Statements off the Halifax website Online statements are fine or do I have to attend the bank and get the statements printed out and stamped to say they are official. No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Overdraft or condition of your account balance will not affect application.

Online PDF statements that is like what you would normally receive by post from the bank is accepted, stamping not required.
