More documents requested for ILR

Post by Clasam » Thu Apr 13, 2023 4:04 pm

Hello,
I need some help with an ILR application I submitted today please. I have applied for ILR from tier 2 visa. I completed my appointment at UKVCAS this morning and had paid for super priority. I have received an email from UKVI this afternoon asking for more documents and I’m quite confused.

They have said:

‘…can you please provide the following documents listed below, you have sent us your employment contract but we still need a official employer letter can you kindly send the below as requested?
- Employer letter, including job title, job type, salary and that they are still employed for the foreseeable future, with letter head
- Bank statements and payslips to collaborate’

I included my most recent bank statement and pay slip as well as a letter from my employer. I did not include an employment contract in my documents which they state I included.

The letter from my employer says this:
"The above named is employed with X NHS Trust. Her base of employment is X. She is employed as a permanent Specialist Speech & Language Therapist in our Allied Health Professionals Speech and Language Therapist Department, working 37.5 hours a week.
X was on maternity leave from XX/XX/2022 to XX/XX/2023.
XX is still needed in the trust to work in the post as a permanent Band 6.
Her employment commenced on the XX April 2020.
I can confirm 2223 code best describes the employment of the above named person and that the post is at the appropriate skill level for the job as stated in the code of practice for Tier 2 sponsors.
XX is entitled to 27 days paid annual leave.
XX is/was on a permanent assignment with the following salary:
Basic Salary: £XXX
High Cost Area Supplement: £XXX
Total: £XXX
If you have any concerns or queries regarding the above information please do not hesitate to contact us."

Is there something I need to have changed in the letter? I thought it covered what needed to be in there.

I got them to scan my documents in at the appointment, is there a way to look at the documents that they scanned in? I tried to look by logging in to UKVCAS but, while I can see that there are documents uploaded, I can't open them to see what is what.

Thank you for any help that you can give me

I think they may have not got what was scanned. Simply re-send the documents asked

Ok thank you, do you think it matters that the wording in my letter says that I am 'still needed to work at the trust' rather than using the exact words about 'employed for the foreseeable future'. That was the only other thing I could think of that they may have a problem with?
Thanks

I do not think that is the issue
