ILR Set M delays

Post by HTBA_90 » Tue Apr 25, 2023 9:28 pm

Hello,

I applied for an ILR on th3 basis of married to a british citizen for more than 5 years. My application has been under review for more than 2 months now. I know that processing times are 3 - 6 months but reading posts of quick turn around times on the timeline forum makes me wonder what might be holding my application up. The only thing I can think of is
1. That my english language requirements are based on ECCTES
2. My current visa ends in December 23

In my mind both these may have pushed my processing times longer. Is this something someone is noticing as well? Is there a safe way I can follow up with the UKVI?

Thanks in advance
HTBA

Not till you hear from HO directly any thing will be guess work so be patient to hear back. No way until 6months mark and if nothing then you may go ahead to contact MP and or complaint procedure.

https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work

I found this link where one can check their work permit status. When I put my BRP card and DOb it says "there is no record and please use most recent BRP details". Is this a widely accepted way of checking ILR application statuses or can the above statement mean something else also?

No it is not. Refrain from using that link as it has no bearing on your ILR status.
Also see: I applied for a priority visa service and I am still waiting for a response. What is happening  ?
