ILR 5 Years Route Set M

Post by liyam » Thu May 11, 2023 2:41 pm

Hi there

My wife entered the UK on 17/11/2017 and it’s already over 5 years.
Her extension however is valid until 23/06/2023 … we were thinking that we can only apply 28 days before the 23/06 so was planning to apply on 26th May 2023.

Is this the earliest we can apply or have I already missed months since 17/11/2022 which she completed the 5 years?

She could have applied since mid October, 2022.

This is really painful to know

May I ask the board whether we are ok providing soft copies bank statements and payslip as we never receive these documents printed on paper anymore?

It's all done online. So softcopies are exactly what you need. It's a new paperless world.

Your previous post from last year suggests that you did NOT meet the finical requirements: indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-5-year-r ... l#p2083451

Thanks for your replies

I’ve thankfully been in full time employment since the last year post.

Glad soft copies are ok :)

One last question I promise, can the application be paid with AMEX card? Or does it have to be only Visa/Mastercard ?

Thank you everyone

Also can someone tell me if we still need the no objection letter from the landlord for ILR or the first one we used for extension is fine?

Thanks everyone in advance

Of the opinion that NOC is not required. Provide tenancy agreement.

Thank you both.

No opinion on whether AMEX credit card is taken by HO? I’m asking that as we have an interest free card we want to put the huge application fee on!

Amex hasn't been accepted in the past by ukvi. As the process has changed since 2018, you will need to see what the options are at payment stage.
