Which salary to state in ILR (M) form?

Post by Lollerz » Sun May 14, 2023 6:38 pm

Hello,

The gross salary for last year was £20,000, and this increased to £25,000 from April 2023. Which one should I mention in the ILR form?

Should I mention £20,000 as this relates to the lower monthly gross figure within the past 6 months? Or £25,000 as this is my current salary?

Thanks.

I'm a little confused with this:

Where the person is in salaried employment – they must have been paid throughout
the period of 6 months prior to the date of application at a level of gross annual
salary which equals or exceeds the level relied upon in the application. Therefore,
the figure used towards the requirement will be the lowest level of annual salary
received during the 6 month period
.

If your salary is X you answer it is X. Caseworkers do not just use answers on the form to make decisions, they use the evidence provided. So if your salary increased recently, they use the lowest in the 6 months to see if you meet the threshold. They look at the lowest payslip value and multiply that to 12 to get your min annual salary. You still should qualify regardless
