New passport, do I need new visa?

Hi all

I applied for my new South African passport early because the turn-around time is usually 4 months. Well, mine took less than a month to arrive! So I now have my new passport and I have my visa (HSMP) in my old passport, which has Cancelled stamped in it. Do I need to get the visa transferred or can I wait until I apply for my extension in March 2009?

You can wait. If you travel just tke the old passport as well.

Carry both passports with you and you should be fine.
