Main n Dependent Application Queries

Post by tvn_ramesh » Sun Jan 04, 2009 1:33 pm

Hello Friends...

Till now i READ, Searched and went through all the guidences posted by fellow boarders..

I started filling my + 2 Dependents applications and have a list of queries which i want some assistance for:

Its is a lengthy query as i thought i should put all the queries in one thread instead of creating multiple threads..

And i also think Lots of people here have the same queries and hope this would be very helpful, if we get proper/concrete answers..

NOTE: while answering please note that, I am applying from my current WP holder for Tier1 (G)

Main Applicant Queries:
Sec 1: A4. Home Office reference number(s) - if known
Q: As i dont have any HO reference numbers other than my WP Workers Reference No. So Can i leave it?

Sec 1 A14. Valid from
Q: i want to pay by my debit card but this HSBC mastero debit card do not have any Valid From date.. Can i leave it?

Sec 2: B10. Home Office reference number(s) (if known):
Q: Again i do not have any HO reference no's can i leave it?

Sec 2: B11. Give details of any current or previous worker reference number(s) under work permit arrangements (if applicable):
Q: I presume, i can use the worker reference number on my Work Permit?

Sec 2: B13. Points Based System migrant reference number (if known):
Q: What is this PBS Migrant Ref no? where/when will i get? i found this query in dependents application form... Any guidance or help?

Sec 2: B27. Please select the applicant’s main occupation from the following list (if applicable):
Q: As i could not find relevent category, Can i leave it and fill the next question? i am working as "Data Manager" in mining industry.. can help?

Sec 2: D4. Please enter the reference number on the entry clearance or visa which can be found in the applicant’s passport or travel document.
Q: i saw many discussions on this topic, but i think we should not put the HSMP or WP ref no. here as they particularly mentioned ref no on EC found on passport/vis?.. So i am planning to provide the UK EC 9 Red Digits no..
Please let me know if i am commiting a blunder? i am in WP now..

Sec 3A: G - G1 n G2 HSMP Forum Ltd. Judicial Review
Q: Should i TICK mark the "NO" for G1 and G2 instead of ignoring or leaving it un-answered? And start filling from
J. Age assessment?? as i am on WP now... push_HSMP helped me eaerlier but i am confused to leave it or Tick No No for G1 G2 and go on to J??

Dependent PBS Application - Queries:

Q1: Can the main applicant fill both the forms of dependents, but signed by the resp applicants?

Sec 2: B12. United Kingdom National Insurance number (if known):
Q: Can i fill / provide my NIN no for my dependents also? same for mobile/ home tel no etc?? can i provide mine?

Sec 4: H2. Has the main applicant received notification that their application for leave to remain under the Points Based System has been successful?
Q: i presume, i should Tick the No box here because i do not have Tier1 Visa approved yet.. Right?

Sec 4: H4. Has the main applicant applied to have his/her application assessed in accordance with paragraphs 39-42 of the HSMP Forum Ltd. Judicial Review Policy Document?

Leave it blank - "if known" offers you good latitude here in any case
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 1 A14. Valid from
Q: i want to pay by my debit card but this HSBC mastero debit card do not have any Valid From date.. Can i leave it?
Yes. Again "A14-A16 Enter the details where available on the card" on page 5 should provide you comfort on this
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 2: B10. Home Office reference number(s) (if known):
Q: Again i do not have any HO reference no's can i leave it?
As above
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 2: B11. Give details of any current or previous worker reference number(s) under work permit arrangements (if applicable):
Q: I presume, i can use the worker reference number on my Work Permit?
Yes
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 2: B13. Points Based System migrant reference number (if known):

It would be applicable if, for instance, you already had an initial leave under Tier-1 and were applying for further leave subsequently
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 2: B27. Please select the applicant’s main occupation from the following list (if applicable):
Q: As i could not find relevent category, Can i leave it and fill the next question? i am working as "Data Manager" in mining industry.. can help?
Science and technology associate professionals?? If not you can leave it blank
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 2: D4.

The numbers in Red is what you want to fill in here

G1 & G2 - Select NO; You must have selected "An initial grant of leave to remain (switching) under Tier 1 (General)" then moved on to Section B, clicked on No and moved on to 3A

Dependent PBS Application - Queries:
tvn_ramesh wrote:Q1: Can the main applicant fill both the forms of dependents, but signed by the resp applicants?
Yes
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 2: B12. United Kingdom National Insurance number (if known):
Q: Can i fill / provide my NIN no for my dependents also? same for mobile/ home tel no etc?? can i provide mine?
No for NI number; Yes for Address if they are staying in UK with you
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 4: H2. Has the main applicant received notification that their application for leave to remain under the Points Based System has been successful?
Q: i presume, i should Tick the No box here because i do not have Tier1 Visa approved yet.. Right?
Yes (I mean tick No)
tvn_ramesh wrote:Sec 4: H4. Has the main applicant applied to have his/her application assessed in accordance with paragraphs 39-42 of the HSMP Forum Ltd. Judicial Review Policy Document?

That would not be a problem. HO requires the passport to be valid for atleast 6 month on the date of application.

Leave it blank. This would have been required in case this was an extension application post initial leave under Tier 1.

I got pakistani nationality and applying within UK for Tier 1 general from PSW visa and going to leave the question B14. United Kingdom ID card number (if applicable): blank, IS this okay?

Really really appreciate your prompt response push_hsmp, Thanks once again...:)
Many Thanks

No i dont have any UK ID card and i am applying within uk from PSW to Tier 1 general. The only think that made me worried is, Because i am from pakistan (a non EU country) and thought its compulsory for me to write UK ID card number. (which means i have to wait until i apply and recieve my UK ID Card an only then i can apply for Tier 1general.

Thanks

Some of the queries you have made are " I havent got it, can I leaveo it blank?" Well off course, if you dont have something you have to leave it because other option would be to somehow create it eg a HO reference number etc. Rest of the questions, well you have answered them yourseleves,

Question D4 in Tier 1 Application

Post by karob » Wed Jan 07, 2009 9:10 pm

Hi, I wanted to know what is the number I am supposed to mention for the question:
Sec 2: D4. Please enter the reference number on the entry clearance or visa which can be found in the applicant’s passport or travel document.

Is it the 'VAF Ref No' mentioned on the entry clearance (in passport) or the 9 digit red coloured number on the entry clearance.

I am on a Work Permit and applying from inside of UK.

Thanks..

i am sure it was once notified by one of the members a email from the HO guys saying that the new rule of earnings and masters degree is for only the new applicants and not for the renewals of ppl already in UK..

best thing for you is to send an email to the HO to get the latest update on it.. but as per previous update u r ok to go...

others who have recent updates please confirm..

If you have received before Master's Degree restriction started, you will be fine with Bachelors Degree.
