ILR Application Status & Absence Concern

Post by AHMEDKHILED » Sun Aug 24, 2025 10:58 pm

Dear Team,
It has now been five months since I submitted my ILR (Tier 1 Entrepreneur) application, and I have not yet received a decision.

All the business and immigration requirements have been fully met. Over the past five years, I have successfully established and grown my business, which has created jobs, generated revenue, and made a positive contribution.

The required investment has been maintained, and all supporting documentation was submitted with the application.

The only outstanding issue relates to my absences, which exceeded 180 days. This was due to my mother’s serious illness, for which I was the primary caregiver. To evidence this, I included a detailed hospital letter, a doctor’s statement, lab test results, and radiology reports, all confirming her condition and the necessity of my presence abroad during that period.

Based on your experience with similar cases, how would you assess my chances of success?

Thanks

Any discretion is up to the UKVI and would be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We cannot know whether the UKVI exercises discretion in your case or not. You have no choice other than waiting to hear back from them
