I need advice on my situation

Post by Moaqra » Tue Dec 23, 2025 10:37 pm

To everyone who helps thanks.

I’m a British citizen. I intend to marry someone next year. This person is divorced and had their spouse visa curtailed in 2023. They applied for asylum and it got rejected. They appealed and got rejected again.

I suffered from a severe traumatic brain injury in 2015 due to a road traffic accident and have a disability. I have caring needs, such as laundry, grocery shopping and ironing clothes. I suffer from occasional falls due to a left sided weakness and have to go hospital to get checked out whenever this happens.

I want to ask if there’s any method in relation to the visa application for my soon to be wife?

Thanks

Is this person (your intended spouse) still in the UK or have they returned to their country of origin?

If they are illegally resident in the UK, they can't legally marry you and therefore can't apply for a spouse visa.

Your disabilities have nothing to do with the legality or otherwise of your marriage and therefore won't impact the impossibility of a spouse visa.
