HSMP Dependent - IT contractor or employed

Hi Guys,

I was following this forum and found it fruitful in terms of ur experiences sharing and specially getting 1st hand info.
I am on HSMP and going Pakistan in March for Marriage and have to apply for HSMP dependent. I have following scenario in UK and was wondering whats the best track to apply with.
I am working as an IT contractor from the last 7 months (Aug 08) and have my own company i.e. i am employee of my own company and sole director as well. For first 2 months i paid 550£ pm then start paying 1500£ (Gross 2000) till now (for applying for HSMP dependent). So it will be 5 months salaries if i will apply in March.
I need your expert suggestion i.e. shall i prepare my case showing myself as an employee only or employee cum director of company. In case of company director i have to submit all company documents and bank statements etc which makes case complicated. Ur suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Regarding visa form, different people have different form nos. i came to know VF-10 (worker dependent) is the one for dependent .. is that correct ?

Hi,
even i am also a contractor and planning to apply in next month.
What I am planning to do is though I am director of my company, still I am an employee and proof for the source of income will be payslips, bank statements.
If anyone has come across this situation please share. it will be very helpful for us.
