Here we go again
Best two parts were:
April - start charging migrants to create a multimillion pound fund to reduce the impacts of migration on local services;
And
tighten new criteria against which highly skilled migrants seeking entry to the United Kingdom are judged, by raising the qualifications and salary required for tier 1 of the PBS to a Master's degree and a minimum salary of £20,000.
Now if they just apply this retrospectively and so many people would not be able to extend.

And don't consider the previous judical review, in some months, when next winter shortage of food and oil are the headlines, no one would give a damn shit about migrants and what benefits originally offered to them.

It'll take lots of courage/stupidity to stay in this country as a migrant.

Hi

Does anybody know how the new rules affect the hsmp extension? I have got only bachelor degree n my visa expiring on feb 2010..... Is anybody know abt this matter, pls help me.

at the moment, no specific details have been announced so you need to watch this space. Anything under the sun can be summed up in April.
