Will I encounter problem applying for bank account?

Hi,

I've got my Tier1 visa and was planning to enter UK next month. But I haven't got a job offer yet, that means I'm not able to provided any emplyer letters or recommandation from any company. So I'm now worrying whether it'll be difficult for me to open a bank account.

I can bring a lot of cash, but it will be very inconvenient if I can not open a bank account before I get a job. Any advice? What shall I do in this situation?

You do not need a job letter to open a bank account. they will need you passport and prove of address that you are living at that property. Prove of address can be your paid telephone, gas or electric bill. Everybody have their bank account even though not everybody have job.
