If you are travelling in the company of, or to join, your EEA family member, then Directive 2004/38/EC says it's ok to carry your Stamp 4 EUFam Residence Card in lieu of a visa.El shaddai wrote:Does anybody know if it s clear to travel to almighty London with EUFAM 4 issued in ireland.
They are required to accept it, in accordance with EU regulations. However, this is only if you are travelling in the company of, or to join, your EEA family member.El shaddai wrote:i heard that London dont allow eufam4 as alternative to visa requirement.i am non eu married to eu citizen.
has anybody make the trip recently?and successfully?
The solution in short: Book tickets through aerlingus.com (to London Gatwick for example) and check-in online within 30 hours and that's it. You don't normally need to show your passport in your trip to london (go straight to departure gaits in Dublin airport with your printed out boarding paper (your passport is in your pocket). You need to use your driving liscense for picture ID check at the gait just before boarding (to airlines people/security not immigration). When you arrive in UK, you will need to hand over the rest of the torn boarding paper at the gait and that's it. (no passports or stamps as it is a domestic flight). Only when you come back to Dublin, you will need to produce your passport and your irish stamp / green card (make sure you have an Irish multi or single entry visa). Have a sense of adventure and adrenaline but it is safe enough !! The only thing you can't do is to work in UK. In this case you need to apply for UK Family Permit (valid for 6 months) at UK embassy in Dublin, and when you move to the UK, you need to apply for UK Residence Card during the validity period of your Family Permit (EEA2 Form). The processing of RC in the UK is currently 8 months.El shaddai wrote:Does anybody know if it s clear to travel to almighty London with EUFAM 4 issued in ireland.

Regulation 11(2) because s/he does not produce an EEA family permit, the IO must
give the non-EEA national reasonable opportunity to provide by other means proof
that he/she is a family member of an EEA national with a right to accompany that
national or join him/her in the UK.
Maybe you should re-consider your trip to the UK?El shaddai wrote:...I hope God will taken control...
